The Olive Wood Project

The Olive Wood Project

The Turkish city of Iznik (formerly Nicaea) in Turkey is expanding. Usually, chopping down olive trees is illegal. However, due to development, many trees have been cut down and discarded by the local council. Instead of seeing this beautiful wood wasted, a couple felt called by God to begin an olive wood business.

Turkish locals and Syrian refugees are learning the trade together, turning the wood into beautiful gift and household items. The olive wood project is promoting education, unity, and love. Your purchase will contribute to further the Kingdom of God in the Middle East.

Adorn's partnership with The Olive Wood Project is one of the largest partners they have. They create all of Adorn's spoons, bowls, tables, cutting boards, etc.
